SVJ Platinum Moving (‘we,’ ‘us,’ ‘our’) operates svjmoving.com, and this policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting a quote request, you’re agreeing to the practices described below.
When you request a quote, contact us, or call our office, we collect the information you provide directly – typically your name, phone number, email address, moving dates, origin and destination addresses, and details about the size or contents of your move. If you contact us by phone, our office may take similar notes to prepare your estimate. We also collect standard technical information automatically when you browse the site, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visited, through cookies and analytics tools.
We use this information to prepare and follow up on your moving estimate, schedule your crew and truck, communicate with you about your move, and maintain records in our internal scheduling and customer management system. We may also use your contact information to follow up on a quote you didn’t complete, or to reach out after a completed move to ask how it went.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We don’t share your information with other moving companies, brokers, or marketing lists. The only outside parties who see your information are service providers who help us operate – such as our scheduling software, email provider, or payment processor – and they’re only permitted to use it to help us provide our services, not for their own marketing.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and for analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as well without them. We may also use call-tracking technology to measure which pages or ads generate phone calls; this does not record the content of calls beyond what’s needed to route them properly.
We keep quote and customer records for as long as reasonably necessary for scheduling, accounting, warranty and claims purposes, and legal recordkeeping requirements, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No online system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]; we’ll respond within a reasonable time. We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements, and the current version will always be posted on this page. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected] or by calling (888) 278-9005.
