“I had an outstanding experience with SVJ Platinum Moving from start to finish. From the moment they reached out ahead of arrival, the communication was clear, proactive, and professional, which immediately set the tone. But what truly made this move exceptional was the crew: Marcus, Kevin, and Anthony. These three were absolutely top-notch. Marcus, Kevin, and Anthony were fast, incredibly careful with every item, and clearly very experienced. They worked efficiently without ever cutting corners, and handled everything with a level of professionalism you don't always see in moving services. What stood out even more was how personable they were. Marcus, Kevin, and Anthony made the entire process enjoyable, I genuinely appreciated being able to talk with them throughout the move. They brought great energy and made what is usually a stressful day feel easy. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it in our new Chestnut Hill home, double-checking details and never rushing us. On top of that, they finished ahead of schedule, which was the cherry on top. If you're looking for a moving company that delivers both high-quality service and an outstanding customer experience, I can't recommend SVJ Platinum enough, and if you can, request Marcus, Kevin, and Anthony. They made all the difference. Exceptional across the board!”
SVJ Platinum Moving
Whether it’s a stair-turn move out of a Chestnut Hill twin or a full household headed up I-95 toward New York, the crew on your job drives a truck this company owns, cashes a paycheck this company cuts, and works off a figure our office put in writing before move day arrived.
- Whatever number you sign is the only number that shows up on your invoice, period
- A fleet of seven trucks and one payroll — not one seat on any of them gets subcontracted
- Dispatching out of Wyndmoor itself for 10 years running, licensed the whole time
One Figure, No Range
Video walkthrough or an in-person visit, either way lands on exactly one number — and that’s the number that ends up on your invoice.

We put together a written list with you before the move — garage, attic, whatever’s behind the water heater — so nothing gets left off the truck on moving day.

Tell Us The Basics
Pickup address, destination, and a rough target date get the conversation started — it takes less time to send than to read this sentence.
We Walk Through It
By video or in your driveway, we note the stairs, measure the doorways, and flag anything on a tight Chestnut Hill lane that could slow the truck down.
Mention Anything Extra
A piano, a few weeks of storage, a closing date that keeps slipping — bring it up now and it folds into the same figure.
You Get A Number In Writing
What lands in your inbox is what you sign on moving morning — it doesn’t change after that.
Our Crew Arrives On Schedule
A screened, W-2 crew from this company pulls up on the morning you picked — rain, snow, or shine — and nobody outside our payroll ever touches the job.

What Wyndmoor-Area Families Told Us Afterward
Posted as written, the easy jobs and the harder ones together — real feedback from customers across Philadelphia's Northwest Suburbs once the truck pulled away.
“Terry and I would like to compliment both Marcus and Kevin for a job well done! They were able to retrieve lost items from our storage spaces, and then transfer them safely to our new home in Erdenheim. Moving household goods is hard work. Add to that the severe heat wave we are going through and the possibility of damage increases. These gentlemen remained cheerful and were always careful of our property; they both treated our belongings as if they were their own. When the move was completed, our belongings were in our home damage-free. Both Marcus and Kevin are to be complimented for their ability to work together and plan accordingly their every move. When we left the storage spaces with the remaining goods, it was so neat because they carefully returned the unwanted items so precisely into the storage that it looked as if nothing had been removed. They are, indeed, a hard act to follow. When it comes time to move the remaining property out of storage, it is our hope that both Marcus and Kevin will be assigned to our job. Karen & Terry Fazio”
“I recently used SVJ Platinum for a pretty large move across Flourtown, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how it went. From the first phone call to the last box being unloaded, they were professional, fast, and incredibly helpful. Moving is always stressful, but these guys made it way easier than I expected. When the crew showed up, they were right on time and ready to work. Marcus, Kevin, and Anthony were the three movers assigned to my job, and they immediately made a great impression. They introduced themselves, walked through the house to get a sense of what needed to be done, and came up with a game plan before they even touched a single item. That kind of organization definitely helped the day run smoothly. What stood out the most to me was how careful they were with my furniture. I had a couple of heavy and awkward pieces, including a big glass-top dining table and a treadmill, and they handled them with no problem. They wrapped everything securely and used blankets and straps to make sure nothing got scratched or damaged. One small issue happened when a leg from one of my nightstands went missing during the move. It wasn't a huge deal, but I did notice it right after the unloading was done. I called the office, and within a couple of hours, Doug from dispatch had one of the guys return with the missing piece. No hassle, no excuse, just quick, friendly service. That really stood out to me and shows the level of professionalism this company has. They also worked fast but never felt rushed. The whole job took less time than I expected, and the guys never once slowed down or looked tired. They kept a great attitude the entire time, even when dealing with stairs and the summer heat. You can tell they take pride in their work and actually care about doing it right. Something else I appreciated was how communicative they were. Throughout the whole day, they kept checking in with me to make sure things were going in the right rooms and that I was happy with the setup. That kind of communication is rare these days and made the experience feel very personal. The pricing was also very fair for the amount of work they put in. No hidden fees, no weird add-ons. Everything was explained clearly upfront, and what I was quoted is what I paid. They even gave me a few tips on how to save space with my packing and storage, which I appreciated a lot. At the end of the day, nothing was broken, everything was where it needed to be, and I felt like I got great value for my money. It's rare to find a moving company that's both fast and careful, but SVJ Platinum nailed it. I've already recommended them to two friends who are planning moves in the next few months, and I'll definitely be using them again if I ever need to move in the future. If you're looking for a reliable, hard-working team that actually cares about doing a great job, this is the company to go with. Huge thanks again to Marcus, Kevin, Anthony, and the whole SVJ Platinum crew. You made a stressful day way easier, and I really appreciate it!”
“I recently used SVJ Platinum for a local move and couldn't be happier with the service. The team of Marcus, Anthony, Kevin, and Ray was outstanding from start to finish. They arrived right on time and quickly reviewed all the items that needed to be moved. They came fully prepared with plenty of boxes, tape, and padding for furniture, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It was a local move into a Fort Washington home that was still under renovation, so everything had to go into the garage. The crew did an excellent job of carefully stacking and organizing everything to make it all fit perfectly. They worked quickly and efficiently while still being very careful with our belongings. The entire move went seamlessly thanks to their professionalism and hard work. If you're looking for fast, efficient, and reliable movers, I highly recommend SVJ Platinum. They made what can be a stressful experience feel easy. Will definitely use them again in the future! Thank you to the whole team!”
“SVJ Platinum was AMAZING to work with!! I highly recommend them! Marcus, Kevin, Anthony, and Ray made our move completely stress-free and honestly turned what I expected to be a very overwhelming day into an enjoyable one. They were professional, hardworking, efficient, and even entertaining throughout the entire process. We had a pretty complicated move involving consolidating 3 storage units into 1, then transporting the remaining items out to a storage container up in Ambler. The crew handled everything flawlessly and with such a positive attitude. They were also incredibly honest and efficient with space. We originally thought we would need two trucks, but they packed everything so well that we only needed one-which saved us money and still left extra room to spare! I was expecting a stressful, exhausting day, but thanks to this team, it ended up being smooth, organized, and actually enjoyable. Could not be happier with the experience! Thanks guys!!!”
“SVJ Platinum was recommended to me by a coworker - and man was it a great recommendation! My mom has gotten to the point of not wanting to live alone, and so we rented a house. And for us 'moving day' was moving our house and her house into the new house in Oreland and then putting some stuff in storage - it was a lot. Marcus, Kevin and Anthony from SVJ Platinum called the morning of our move to check in. Then they showed up right on time at 10 and started in! They wrapped furniture, moved it carefully, took apart all the beds and worked above and beyond my expectation. Then we moved on to my mom's and same thing. All of the furniture and boxes got unloaded at our new house and then we had to take the truck back for a second round at each house for the last of the furniture. It was a long day, but Marcus, Kevin and Anthony worked hard through it all - and were lovely guys with good senses of humor. They really made a hard day so much easier. I recommend them whole heartedly! Used these guys again a few months later for another small move and they are still awesome! Kevin and Ray were our movers and they were nice and efficient and careful with all of our stuff. Recommend highly!”

And everyone loading your boxes draws a paycheck from SVJ Platinum Moving, not from a corner pickup that morning.

What Wyndmoor-Area Customers Ask Us First
Is SVJ Platinum Moving a real moving crew, or would I be handed off to someone else?
We’re a working moving company headquartered in Wyndmoor, registered with the Pennsylvania PUC and carrying US DOT/MC authority for anything crossing a state line. Your job stays inside this company start to finish — the truck, the crew, and the person who quoted you all belong to SVJ Platinum Moving, and your contact information stops with us instead of getting resold to a call center.
How do you land on a final price?
We go room by room with you, either face to face or over a video call, then send back a single number in writing — no ticking meter, and no stair, fuel, or mileage charge tacked on later anywhere in Philadelphia’s Northwest Suburbs.
Does a bad forecast push the move back?
Almost never. When a storm threatens to close the Turnpike ramps with less than a day’s warning, we shift the date earlier instead of later, and Steven takes those particular weeks himself rather than passing them off.
What about awkward stuff — a piano, a gun safe, something like that?
All the time. We keep the right ramps and rigging on hand for uprights, baby grands, gun safes, and anything else oddly shaped or overweight, and every one of our crew chiefs has already muscled something similar down a narrow Chestnut Hill stairwell without a scratch to show for it.
Will you run a job that leaves the state entirely?
Regularly. Depending on which way you’re headed, that’s an I-95 run up toward New York, a southbound trip into the DC/Baltimore corridor, or a westbound haul on the Turnpike to Pittsburgh. Whichever direction, the quote stays one flat number, and the crew that loads your truck in Wyndmoor is the crew unloading it at the other end.
How much lead time should I plan for?
Booking three-ish weeks ahead gives you the widest pick of dates — weekends and the tail end of the month go first, and so does anything near the late-summer school-year rush. Closer to your date than that? Reach out anyway, since cancellations free up a slot more often than you’d think.
